BASF, the world´s leading chemical company, has built its European Shared Service Center in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg area of the city of Berlin. BASF Services Europe GmbH provides services in the areas of Personnel as well as Finance and Accounts for BASF´s business groups in Europe. In the next couple of years, the number of employees will rise from currently about 500 to around 600 until the end of the year 2008.
